Don't Ignore your Neck and Chest

Calling on my busy women friends I must mentor you not to Ignoring your Neck and Chest. Skin care doesn't stop at your jawline. These areas are almost always exposed, and yet they rarely receive same level of hydration and sun protection as the face. But the skin there is more delicate and just as vulnerable to photoaging. The skin around our eyes, top of our hands and decolletage is the thinest and show the first signs of aging. The fix is simple: The next time you apply serum, face cream, or sunscreen or give yourself an exfoliating treatment, extend everything down to your décolletage. Use a decollete cream with a SPF, the cream will soften the appearance of crepiness, reduce fine lines and reduce the appearance of dark spots.

So don't let your hands and and decollete give away your age. I love to mentor women to a skin care routine or how to use color cosmetics that compliment their lifestyle and within their budget.

Secrets of Lipstick Application

Do you have a lipstick shade that you just love but it just doesn't moisturize your lips or it doesn't stay on? How about feathering or bleeding of your favorite lipstick? Just like cleansing your face it is recommended you also exfoliate your lips, buffing away the dead skin and apply a moisturizing balm which hydrates your lips. For the bleeding and feathering use a lip primer; which fights fine lines and wrinkles. Fill your lips in with a lipliner shade that matches your lipstick shade then finish off with your favorite lipstick, top with lipgloss if you prefer.

Putting your Best Face On

Calling all women in business or out there looking for their next career!! I'm am sure you have heard that the first impression means so much in the first 5-10 seconds; the person you are meeting makes of you? Do you know that women that go on a interview without any make-up on will less likely receive a second interview? Image is everything, if you haven't received a compliment on your hair, make-up, shoes, jewelry or a outfit lately perhaps you should step back and consider making a change for yourself.

In business I have seen women change in little as a few weeks when the make a minor change. They stand taller, walk and or talk with confidence. Mentoring and educating women to this change is fun because you get to see them grow personally.
